Abstract

Introduction: Based on data from the Manggar Baru Community Health Center, the prevalence of preterm births during the last three years was 15.15% from January to December 2022. 8.82% from January to December 2023. 8.47% from January to December 2024. This study aims to determine the psychological changes in pregnant women, to identify fetal growth disorders, and to analyze the relationship between psychological changes in pregnant women and fetal growth disorders in the Manggar Baru Community Health Center work area in 2025.

Methods: The methodology used in this study is correlation analytical research with a cross-sectional approach, data collection techniques using accidental sampling.

Results: a statistically significant relationship between psychological changes in pregnant women and fetal growth disorders.

Conclusions:  There is a relationship between psychological changes in pregnant women and fetal growth disorders in the work area of ​​the Manggar Baru Balikpapan Health Center in 2025. The factors that influence anxiety include gestational age, education, occupation and income.
